Team Sports

The St. Irenaeus School after-school athletic program provides quality and competitive sports in a Christian environment for intermediate and junior high age children. St. Irenaeus School sport teams compete in the Parochial Athletic League (PAL) under the Coastal Division 2A & 2B, and other sanctioned tournaments. Our cheerleaders represent the school at home games. These teams are self-supporting. Students accepted to play on any team pay a sports fee to the school and all parents are involved in transportation, snacks, set-up and clean-up.

St. Irenaeus School is a member of the Parochial Athletic League. This league administrates the after school sports program for most of the parochial/Christian schools in Orange County. The PAL is responsible for forming leagues, scheduling games and game sites, assigning officials, and establishing league policies. The PAL has an extensive web site that offers information on leagues, schedules, directions to school game sites, and other special events. Be sure to check it out at https://www.parochialathleticleague.com/.
