Student Government

The Student Government program provides the forum for development of student leadership skills. Elected officers, as well as class representatives, learn to work together for the good of the school community. Their primary focus is building pride in our school, a sense of belonging, and honoring the unique gift each student brings to St. Ireneaus.

Pink/Denim Day

On October 17, 2007, the Student Government sponsored a Pink/Denim Day to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3Day Walk for the Cure. The student body brought in $469.60. This is the second year that this fundraiser benefited breast cancer research. More non-uniform dress days are planned, and the money raised will benefit different worthwhile causes.
