Camp Fire USA Community Family Club:  We are a co-ed group, centered around family activities with children ranging from grades 1 through 8. The children meet once a month on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 4-5:15 in Classroom #1. We do crafts, learn camping skills, sing songs, play games, plan and carry out service projects, develop leadership skills and learn how to work and play together as a family community. All the families gather once a month, usually on the third Sunday, from 1 - 3 in the Education Building for family and age appropriate activities. A field trip is held once a month for all of the families. The family and children's group activities are supplemented by all Council events at the Camp Fire's 5 acre service center and day camp on Carson and Los Coyotes Diagonal in Long Beach. Camp Fire members learn by working and playing fairly with others and earn recognition beads, patches and other awards for their accomplishments.
