Dear Parents,

As we begin the 2007-2008 school year we would like to present the HSA fundraising information. We are planning 2 fundraisers to help us meet our goal of $150,000. As you are aware, each family has a $500 Family Commitment towards our fundraising efforts.

The Tuition Raffle!! Each family must buy at least two tickets to our raffle.
This year families will be able to purchase as many as 4 tickets for the raffle.
Tickets are $50 each and two tickets are included in each family's August packet. Additional tickets will be available in the school office. All raffle tickets must be paid for by September 7. The winner will be announced after the first Student Body Mass on Tuesday, September 11. The winning family will receive one year of tuition for one student.

The Jog-A-Thon!! It will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007, beginning at 5:00 p.m.. This is an event for the whole family. Students in each grade level wear matching T-shirts and race around the track from 5-6:00pm while family members cheer them on. (See the separate T-shirt order form) In the event of rain on Oct. 19, the Jog-A-Thon will be held on Friday, Oct. 26.

After the Tuition Raffle, the remainder of the family fundraising commitment comes from the Jog-a-Thon. Families can begin getting personal and Business Sponsors now!!! We have included a Business Sponsor information form in the August packet.

FISH HOURS!! There are many opportunities to earn FISH hours helping with the Jog-A-Thon in the weeks preceding the event, and on October 19. The success of this fundraiser depends on the commitment and efforts of all our families.

MATCHING GIFTS!! Most companies will not match a donation made for a raffle. Matching gifts for the Jog-A-Thon are credited to the family of the employee and are not transferable.
