Click here for printer friendly version About Calendars How are the calendars organized? We have a school-wide calendar which is meant for items of general interest to all (or most) parents and students. Individual calendars can be created for separate organizations, grade levels or even classrooms. How do I get my own calendar? If you are a leader of a school organization or a teacher you can have your own calendar. This can be a good way to let your group or class know what's going on and let others know what goes on here at St. Irenaeus. If you would like one please contact Mindy Dwyer to set it up. Please include what you would like your calendar to be called and what username and password you would like to administer your calendar. How do I update my calendar? It's easy. Once your calendar is set up a username and password is set up so you can have access to administer your calendar. You can create the categories and the events. Deleting, modifying and even copying events are easy. What should I put on my calendar? What should I put on the school-wide calendar? The school-wide calendar is meant for things of general interest to the whole school such as holidays, special events (like the talent show) or newspaper drives. On your own calendar you can put your clubs meetings or your class' homework. If you have items of general interest that you want to include on the school-wide calendar (perhaps you have a special event that the public is invited to attend), you will need to have a username and account for that calendar as well. |
