St. Irenaeus offers the following after school extra-curricular activities:

Academic Chess

Students in grades K-8 are invited to join Academic Chess. The curriculum is designed to fit the needs of all skills levels for continuing or new students. Academic Chess meets on Thursdays from 3:00pm-4:00pm. For more information go to: 

Art Innovators

An after school program for students in grades K-6. Students learn how to draw and explore various media and techniques. All art materials are included in this program. Art Innovators meets on Tuesdays from 2:00pm-3:00pm. For more information go to:

Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development. The curriculum is age-appropriate and aligns with education standards. Soccer Shots is for ages 4-8 years and meets on Mondays starting at 3:00pm. For more information go to :

Brain Builders - Super Structures

In this fun hands-on class, students will learn the fundamentals of structural engineering and architecture while using LEGO bricks. Students learn concepts such as force, joints, strong shapes, and engineering fundamentals. This class meets on Wednesdays after school from 3:00pm-4:00pm and is suitable for grades 1-8.
