Mrs. Stella Costello's Message

Welcome to St. Irenaeus Parish School!

For nearly 60 years. St. Irenaeus Parish School has served the Parish, and the local community, by educating children in a strong academic environment enriched by the teachings of our Catholic faith.  I am blessed to serve among faculty, staff, and families partnering together to foster discipleship, stewardship, and leadership in each of our students.

Choosing the best school environment for your child is one of the most important decisions you can make.  As a fellow parent, I understand the sacrifice it takes to provide a child with a Catholic education.  But greater than the sacrifice is the gift of investing in our children, to provide a faith-filled education, where they can develop to their full spiritual and academic potential.

We are honored that you are considering St. I.  Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about our wonderful community.  I invite you to schedule a tour on our campus to see what makes St. Irenaeus Parish School such an amazing place for children to learn, believe, and serve in…together.

In mission,

Mrs. Stella Costello

Principal

Fr. Binh Nguyen's Message

Parents and grandparents:

Welcome to the St. Irenaeus Parish School website! Since September of 1963, following the establishment of our parish church in 1961, our parish school has been an amazing presence in the City of Cypress, providing quality faith-based education for many generations. Whether you are a parent or grandparent who has a student in our school already, or whether you are currently looking for a school in which to enroll your child, you will discover that our school is a worthy investment.

Under the capable leadership of our interim principal, Mrs. Stella Costello, the faculty and staff at our school strive everyday to provide a safe and ideal environment for the full flourishing of each child from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Although our academic standards are high and our curriculum is strong, we also understand that each child’s development is different and unique. Therefore, parent involvement is critical to the success of our program. After all, the Church reminds us that parents are the first teachers of their children, especially when it comes to education in the faith.

The vision for Catholic education here in the Diocese of Orange is to provide students with the best Catholic faith formation and the skills and knowledge to live lives of goodness, service, and success. We love partnering with you on this mission!

Thank you for visiting our website. Please do not hesitate to visit our school campus and talk to our teachers, staff, and/or school parents.

May God bless you in seeking the best education for your child.

Faithfully yours in Christ,

Rev. Binh Tien Nguyen, Pastor
